NEET-2023: Exam Analysis

NEET aspirants who appeared for the 7th May 2023 exam had the following feedback to share:

Chemistry

Biology

Physics

Moderate – difficult

Easy-Moderate

Easy-Moderate

The chemistry section was moderately difficult but lengthy.

Several questions were from the NCERT curriculum.

Inorganic chemistry was difficult among all the sections.

Both sections were time-consuming, but students found Zoology to be easier than Botany.

Nearly all questions were from the NCERT syllabus, wherein Classes 11 and 12 enjoyed equal importance.

Compared to the previous year’s question paper, this one was easier.

Questions were posed from both the 11th and 12th syllabi.

The important topics in Chemistry were:

  • Inorganic Chemistry
  • Chemical Bonding
  • Hydrocarbons

The following chapters enjoyed a higher weightage:

  • Plant Physiology
  • Plant Kingdom
  • Biomolecules
  • Biotechnology
  • Tissue
  • Human Physiology
  • Molecular Basis of Inheritance

Topics with high weightage were:

  • Modern Physics
  • Electronics
  • Electrostatics
  • Electricity
  • Magnetism
