Expert Answer
If one of the plate is tilted, keeping up with the same distance between the plates, we actually change the area of two plates, as they no longer superimpose. And capacitance is directly propotional to the area, and new capacitance is less than the old one due to tilting of the plate in parallel plate capacitor.
