Which formula do we use to calculate the work done when a body is moved against gravity ?

When the work is done against gravity, then the amount of work done is equal to the weight of the body times the vertical distance through which it is lifted.

Work done = Weight of body x vertical distance against gravity
 
W = mg x h= mgh
 
Where,
W - Work
m - Mass
g - acceleration due to gravity
h - vertical distance
