the effective resistance of two resistors connected in parallel is 7.2ohm if one resistance if one resistence is 12 ohm value of other ?

As we know equivalent resistance of resistor connected in parallel for two resistance is given by
R = R1×R2/(R1+R2)
Putting the values we get
7.2 = 12×R2/(12+R2)
So R2 = 18Ω
