Is period motion is simple harmonic motion and simple harmonic motion is periodic motion?

A periodic motion is one in which particle or object retraces its path after a definite period of time. In periodic motion particle retraces its path only once in one time period.
whereas simple harmonic motion is one in which particle retraces its path after a definite period of time but it to and fro about a mean point in its path and we can say completes its path twice in a single period of time.
so, we can say that every simple harmonic motion is a periodic one but all periodic motions are not simple harmonic ones.

the time period of simple pendulum is 2 second it can go from equilium position at the maximum distance of 5 cm if at the start of the motion the pendulum in the position of maximum displacement towards the right of equilium position then write the different equation.
