Displacement y of SHM is given as

y = A cos ( ω t + φ ) .......................(1)

where A is amplitude , ω is angular frequency , t is time and φ is initial phase.

It is given that intitial phase φ = 0 .

Let y is displacement in m .

Let us consider the following values

A = 1 cm = 0.01 m  and ω = 100 rad/s

Velocity v of particle that is subjected to SHM as given by eqn.(1) is

v = dy/dt = - A ω sin ( ω t + φ ) .........................(2)

Acceleration a of particle is

a = dv/dt = - A ω2 sin ( ω t + φ ) .........................(3)

Plots of Displacement , velocity and acceleration are given below ( EXCEL plots )
