The line having the x-intercept 4, passes through the point (4, 0).

The given line is 2x - 3y + 7 = 0
Slope of given line = .
Slope of perpendicular line = The line passing through (4, 0) and slope is y - 0 = (x - 4) 2y = -3x + 12 3x + 2y = 12 .
