Dear student,
Electrons are accelerated in an alternating electric field and subsequently deflected in a magnetic field. The measurements which are required are the frequency of the alternating accelerating voltage, the magnitude of the magnetic field at the electron orbit, and the angle through which the electrons are deflected.
