Let space the space marked space price space be space straight x Case space 1 SP space equals MP minus Discount equals space 0.6 straight x Loss percent sign equals 10 10 equals fraction numerator CP minus SP over denominator CP end fraction cross times 100 10 equals fraction numerator CP minus 0.6 over denominator CP end fraction cross times 100 CP equals 2 over 3 straight x space space space......1 Case 2 SP equals MP minus discount SP equals 0.8 straight x straight P equals 7.5 SP minus CP equals 7.5 CP equals 0.8 straight x minus 7.5 space space.......2 So comma from space 1 space and space 2 2 over 3 straight x equals 0.8 straight x minus 7.5 straight x equals 56.25 space.... sub space in space 1 CP equals 37.5 Rs.
