ABCD is a rectangle in which diagonal AC is equals to 17 cm angle BCA is equals to thitha and sin theta is equals to 8/17 find the area of rectangle ABCDE (ii) the perimeter of rectangle ABCD

Figure shows the rectangle ABCD. Diagonal AC = 17 cm and ∠BCA = θ .

sin θ = AB/ AC = 8/17

Hence , we get , AB = 8 cm and AC = 17 cm

Area = 8 × 15 cm2 = 120 cm2 ;

Perimetre = 2 ( 8 + 15 ) cm = 46 cm
