When a bird sits on a high voltage wire they dont get cunnent shoks but does it same apply to human beings, can humans also sit on wire and they dont current shoks?

Yes it applies to human beings too. If one stands on the wire, then that person will not get a shock as the wire is at same potential with respect to ground.
However, if one touches the wire and stands on some substance, then the person will get shock as there will be a potential difference between hands and feet that touch the ground through the substance that one stands on.
