CBSE Class 12-science Answered
1. If there is a reduction of 1000 e in comparison to the normal state on a charged conductor, then tell the magnitude and nature of the charge present on the conductor?

For the given case,
When 1000 electrons are removed from a noncharged conductor, the conductor will have net positive charge.
Now,
Magnitude of charge = +1.6 x 10-19 x 1000 = 1.6 x 10-16 C.
