ends. The common radius is 2m. The height of the cone at one end is 1m and
that at the other end is 1.5m. Total height of the hanger is 5.5 m. Find the

Expert Answer
length of cylinderical part of hanger = 5.5 - 1 - 1.5 = 3 m
Surface area of cylinderical part = π×r2 ×L = π×22 ×3 = 12π sq.m
surface area of conical part of height 1 m =
surface area of conical part of height 1.5 m =
Cloth area = total surface area = (12+4√5 +10)π sq.m ≈ 97 sq.m
