State four different ways in which three resistors of r ohm each can be connected. State in which case the equivalent of effective resistance each (a) maximum (b) minimum . Give reason.

Maximum resistance would be in the first case.
Because they are in series and all simply add up.
Minimum resistance would be in the fourth case.
Becuase they are in parallel combination which reduces the effective the resistance.
