For second part of question
Resistors 2ohm and 2ohm are in parallel
So equivalent resistance = 2+2 = 4ohm
This 4 ohm is in parallel with 4ohm resistance
Equivalent resistance across AB = (4×4)/(4+4) = 16/8 = 2ohm
