Give solubility order for i) alkali metal bicarbonates, ii) silver halides.

Solubility in water depends on the ionic nature of the compound. If Ionic nature increases then solubility also increases in water.
(1)In Alkali metal bicarbonates (MHCO3), Ionic nature increases on going down in a group due to the increase in the size of cation.
So the order of solubility-
LiHCO3 <NaHCO3<KHCO3 <RbHCO3 <CsHCO3
(2)In Silver Halides(MX), Ionic nature decreases due to the increase in the size of the anion
So the order of solubility-
AgI<AgBr<AgCl<AgF
