Find the equation to the straight line cutting of intercept 3 and 2 from the axis

Expert Answer
Let the intercept on x axis is 3 and on y axis is 2 then equation is
x/3 + y/2 = 1 i.e 2x + 3y = 6
and
Let the intercept on x axis is 2 and on y axis of 3 then equation is
x/2 + y/3 = 1 i.e 3x + 2y = 6
