Cu2+               + H2O =     Cu    + 2H+     +1/2 O2

63.5/2 =31.75g Cu2+ evolves oxygen gas at NTP   =                                     1/2 x22400 =11200cc


 and 0.4g   evolves               11200 x .4 /31.75 =141cc oxygen gas
