Expert Answer

Given that,

Length of wire, l =22.5 cm = 0.225 m

Resistance, R = 20 Ω

Diameter, d = 0.3 mm = 3× 10-3 m

Now,

Resistivity of wire will be

rho equals fraction numerator R A over denominator L end fraction
fraction numerator left parenthesis 20 cross times pi cross times left parenthesis 1.5 cross times 10 right parenthesis squared right parenthesis over denominator 0.225 end fraction equals
therefore rho almost equal to 0.00063 space capital omega m
