A wire of length 22.5 cm and resistance was 20 © and the diameter was 0. 3mm then what is the resistivity  of the material .

Given that,

Length of wire, l =22.5 cm = 0.225 m

Resistance, R = 20 Ω

Diameter, d = 0.3 mm = 3× 10-3 m

Now,

Resistivity of wire will be

 rho equals fraction numerator R A over denominator L end fraction
fraction numerator left parenthesis 20 cross times pi cross times left parenthesis 1.5 cross times 10 right parenthesis squared right parenthesis over denominator 0.225 end fraction equals
therefore rho almost equal to 0.00063 space capital omega m
