A nuetron is made up of two down quarks and one up quark(ddu). so it will be negative ,but we now a neutron is neutral in nature??

A neutron is made up of two down quark and one up quark so net charge will be (-1/3 e) + (-1/3e) + (+2/3e) = (-2/3 e) +(+ 2/3e) = o
which indicates that neutron is nuetral.no charge as such.
