Uniform speed to travel from home to bank = 18 km/hr = 5 m/s
Distance from Home to Bank = speed × time =  5 m/s × 10s = 50 m
 

Uniform speed to travel from  bank to market = 36 km/hr = 10 m/s
Distance from Bank to market = speed × time =  10 m/s × 20s = 200 m
 
Average speed = Total distance / Total time = ( 50 + 200 ) m / ( 10 + 20 ) s = 8.33 m/s
