WOULD YOU EXPECT THE TEMPERATURE OF WATER AT THE TOP AND AT THE BOTTOM OF A WATERFALL O BE SAME? EXPLAIN

At the bottom, temperature is slightly higher than temperature at top.
This is because all the potential energy at top is converted into kinetic energy at bottom.
when water hits the ground at high speed, it is suddenly stopped for some time, its direction changes and
its speed is getting reduced when flowing through ground.
Hence part of the kinetic energy is converted to thermal energy and temperature is slightly warmer.
