Why voltage decreases when we connect resistors in series and current remains same? Why voltage remains same when we connect resistors in parallel and current decreases?

When we connect electrical equipment in series it directly consumes voltage from supply so every equipment has different voltage so according to ohms law when voltage remain same current can vary. 
When we connect electrical equipment in parallel it withdraws current from the circuit and voltage remain same.
These are basic definition of series and parallel connections in an electric circuit, you should remember these.
