Expert Answer
Electric dipole moment: p = q (2a) = 3 x 10-6 x 2 x1 0-3 = 6 x 10-9 Cm
1. Broad side on position of dipole corresponds to a point on the equatorial plane of the dipole.
So the electric field at a point y = 0.6 m
2. On rotating the dipole through 90o the broad side on position becomes end on that is axial point.
