These two questions are based on grouping still to find correct answers we are required to do LCM in the 1st one and HCF in the 2nd one. So if a question is based on grouping what thing we should keep in our mind and please tell me what is the difference in both of them

Expert Answer
LCM is for multiplication
HCF is for division
In first case you have to multiply 24 and 15 to get a common number of chocalates for both packets,
Hence you need to find LCM
In second case you have to divide 15 pastries and 12 biscuit packets are to be divided
to get same number of pastries and biscuit packets as quotient. Hence you need to find HCF
