answered-by-expert Expert Answer
Every leap year has 52 Mondays, 52 Tuesdays..........,52 Saturdays and 52 Sundays. all these days become 52×7 = 364 days.
Hence the leap year has extra two days. These extra two days can be

{ Mon-Tue, Tue-Wed, Wed-Thu, Thu-Fri, Fri-Sat, Sat-Sun, Sun-Mon }

In the above sample space, there are 7 possible combination, but only two cases are favourable to have 53rd  sunday in a leap year.

hence required probability = 2/7
