There are several plants belonging to Thallophyta which shows some body differentiation. But they do not show true body differentiation. In addition, they show all the other characters of Thallophyta such as autotrophic mode of nutrition, absence of any vascular system, aexual reproduction generally by spores, simple sex organs, lack of embryo formation after fertilization, prominent gametophytic phase with a short sporophytic phase etc.
