Person coming down by lift or  slope or stairs. Which case work done is more and why?

Physics point of view, workdone is equal to change in potential energy.
Hence if a person is coming down from a height h to ground level, change in potential energy is same whatever mode is taken by the person
whether it is stairs or slope or lift. when the person comes down by stairs or slope, he/she has to do the work and workdone will be same.
when he/she comes down by lift, workdone is by the motor that operating the lift
