Answer:

(1)Resistance per unit length,R=V/IL=2/5=0.4 Ωm-1

(2)Resistance of 2 m long wire,R'=2X0.4=0.8 Ω

(3)Length gets halved area becomes 4 times .So resistance becomes (1/(24))=1/8 times of original resistance=1/8 (2)=0.25 Ω(For 5 m)
