1. Lipid digestion
2. Salivary amylase/Ptyalin (breaks complex carbohydrates to smaller chains)
 
Stomach
1. Pepsin (breaks down the protein in the food into smaller particles)
2. Lipase (emulsification of lipids in the stomach)
3. HCl (provides acidic medium for many enzymes to get activated)
 
Pancreas
1. Trypsinogen (breaks down proteins at the basic amino acids)
2. Pancreatic amylase (digest the carbohydrate cellulose)
3. Cholecsystokinin
4. Somatostatin
 
Small Intestine
1. Maltase, sucrase and lactase bring about digestion of carbohydrates.
2. Peptidases help in digestion of proteins.
3. Enterokinase helps in the activation of other enzymes.
