To solve this question you can directly apply the formula for distance travelled in nth second.

Sn = u +1/2a(2n-1)

here u, a and n are given.

Say a car is moving with a constant acceleration and you want to find the distance it covers at the end of 4 seconds and till the beginning of the 5th second. It is difficult to visualize because we do not think that a second can be divided into smaller parts. But from 4s to 5s there are 1000 milliseconds.

The above formula is got by taking the distance covered in n seconds and subtracting the distance covered in n-1 seconds.
