If -5 is a zero of quadratic equation 2xsquare+px-15=0 and the quadratic equation p(xsquare+x)k=0 has equal roots, find the value of k

It is given in the question that, "  p(x2 + x)k = 0 has equal roots ".
 
if p≠0 and k≠0, then x = 0. equation has real roots has no meaning.
 
May be some typing mistake.  correct the question if any error, then post it. We will solve the question
