Current is flow of charge carriers such as electron in a conducting medium under the influence of electric field generated due to the potential difference.
SI Unit :- Ampere, (A)
Ampere definition:- Constant current maintained in two straight-parallel conductors of infinite length and placed 1 meter apart in vacuum that would produce a force of 2 × 10-7 newton per metre of length
