Power delivered by pump should be utilized to raise the potential energy of 20 cm3 water.

power delivered by pump in t seconds = 10×746×0.8×t =5968×t  Joules...................(1)

potential energy of water = volume×density×g×h = 20×10-6×1000×9.8×20 = 3.920 Joules..............(2)

we get the time by equating eqns. (1) and (2), 5968×t = 3.920

hence t = 0.657 milli seconds.
