Heat gained by liquid of mass m1 and specific heat c1 = m1×c1×(t2-t1);
Heat gained by Calorimeter = H×(t2-t1)
Heat Loss of Solid of mass M = M×c2×(T-t2)
 
Heat Loss of Solid = Heat Gained by liquid and calorimeter;
m1×c1×(t2-t1)+H×(t2-t1) = M×c2×(T-t2)
