Acceleration a that is produced by the 0.5 N force on 2 kg body = force/mass = 0.5/2 = 0.25 m/s2
 
distance moved in 8 seconds starting from rest = (1/2)×a×t2 = (1/2)×0.25×8×8 = 8 m.
 
Workdone = force × distance = 0.5 × 8 = 4 J
 
speed after 8 seconds = a×t = 0.25×8 = 2 m/s
 
kinetic energy = (1/2)×m×v2 = (1/2)×2×2×2 = 4 j
