why it is not necessary that small resistor is not physically smallin the size too?

Expert Answer:

The resistance of a conductor depends on the material, directly propotional to its length and inversely propotional to its cross sectional area.
                        R = ?l / A
A conductor having large length will have comparatively small resistance if its cross sectional area is very large.
