why is the equation of photosynthesis in our NCERT book written
6CO2+12H2O=(in the presence of sunlight and chlorophyll) C6H12O6+ 6O2+6H2O
while in earlier classes we have studied that the equation for photosynthesis is
6CO2+6H2O=(in the presence of sunlight and chlorophyll) C6H12O6+6O2

Both of these are correct.
The difference is of H2O molecules which is either used or given out by transpiration or guttation.
