Given geometric progression series is 3, 6, 12, 24, .............................
first term a = 3 and common ratio r = 2
n-th term , tn = a r(n-1) = 192
3 × (2)(n-1) = 192
2n-1 = 64 = 26
from above expression, n = 7
hence 192 is 7-th term of geometric progression series .
