when difference between uniform circular and uniform linear motion is asked can 1 of the diff. be: U. circular- body moves in a circular path U. linear-body moves in a straight line i wrote this but got no marks??????

Your answer is repetation of question and obvious, naturally you will not be awarded by marks.
 
Uniform linear motion if speed does not vary then velocity is constant and will not vary.
Where as in uniform circular motion though speed is constant, velocity will not be constant
because due to circular motion the object changes the direction.
