What is the meaning of " reduce by heating current in hydrogen"

Above statement means that the reduction is carried out with help of a catalyst and hydrogen gas known as a catalytic reduction.
For example, the cupric oxide is heated in the current of hydrogen (in presence of hydrogen gas) gives reduced copper.
