What is MCB?why it is better than fuse??

MCB is miniature circuit breaker, for protection against excessive current in the circuit, which may damage the circuit. Unlike a fuse, which operates once and then has to be replaced, a circuit breaker can be reset (either manually or automatically) to resume normal operation.
