vel. is inversely proportional to density hence sound travels in rainy day faster than in a dry air day. vel is directly prop. to temp.even so the ques is that on rainy day temp. is low then how can vel travel faster on such a day?

Sound travels faster in humid air (rainy season) than in dry air (summer) at the same temperature.
Pls note that the comparison is made at the same temperature.
