The length of a rectangle is 5 more than the 2 times of its breadth. If the perimeter of the rectangle is at least 640 cm. Find the minimum value of its breadth.

Let space the space breadth space of space straight a space rectangle space equals space straight x space cm rightwards double arrow Length space equals space 2 straight x plus 5 Perimeter space greater or equal than 640 space cm rightwards double arrow 2 left parenthesis length space plus space breadth right parenthesis greater or equal than space 640 rightwards double arrow 2 left parenthesis 2 straight x plus 5 plus straight x right parenthesis greater or equal than 640 rightwards double arrow 3 straight x plus 5 greater or equal than 320 rightwards double arrow 3 straight x greater or equal than 315 rightwards double arrow straight x greater or equal than 105
 
Hence, the minimum value of breadth is 105 cm.
