Let x litres of water be added.
   30% of (1150 + x) < 50% of 1150 < 35% of (1150 + x)

    30(1150 + x) < 50(1150) < 35 (1150 + x)
    34500 + 30x < 57500 < 40250 + 35x
    34500 + 30x < 57500 and 57500 < 40250 + 35x
    30x < 57500 – 34500 and 57500 – 40250 < 35x
    30x < 23000 and 17250 < 35x

    x < 766.7 and 492.8 < x
    492.8 < x < 766.7
Hence, Water to be added should lie between 492.8 liters and 766.7 liters
