The given system of inequations is:
Consider the equations x = 0; y = 0; x + 2y = 8.
Now, x + 2y = 8 is a line through the points B (0, 4) and A (8, 0) which lie in the coordinate axes.

          Y
            4
            0
 
Now, O (0, 0) satisfies x + 2y < 8
    Graph of  is the half plane below line AB and including points of line AB.
Also,
    Graph lies in first Quadrant.
    The solution set is shaded in the figure.
