Expert Answer
A particle moves with constant acceleration.
We know,
At the end of 10th second the velocity of particle becomes 20 m/s
v = u + at
20 = u + a×10 ....(1)
Displacement taking place in nth second is given by,
sn = u + a/2 (2n-1)
10 = u + a/2 (2×10-1)
10 = u + 9.5 a ... (2)
Solving (1) and (2) we get,
10 = 0.5 a
Thus,
a = 20 m/s2
Hence, the acceleration or particle will be 20 m/s2
