Excretion is essential to remove the waste products of metabolism from the body of animal or plant. If not removed regularly and in time, it will lead to the death of the individual.
The excrement also acts as manure for the soil which helps in the growth of new plants. The quality of soil is also improved. Thus excretion benefits the surroundings as well.
