multiple image formation in refraction lesson

A single plane mirror will form only one image.
If there are more plane mirrors kept at certain angles, then it forms multiple images.
Light rays reflect from one mirror and are incident on the other which reflects it again. Thus, we can say that an image formed by one mirror acts as an object for the other. Let us say that θ is the angle between the two mirrors.
If
is odd, then the number of images formed is n when the object is placed asymmetrically between the two mirrors.

If
is odd, then the number of images formed is n − 1 when the object is placed symmetrically between the two mirrors.

If
is even, then the number of images formed is always n – 1 no matter how the object is placed between the two mirrors.
