Is dry cell really dry!!

Dry cell is also called Leclanche cell. Dry cell is made of zinc anode and carbon cathode. An electrolyte used in dry cell is paste of ammomium chloride. An electrolyte is absorbed in a solid to obtain a paste. Thus, unlike wet cells a dry cell operates without spilling as it does not contain any free liquid.
